Afterschool Programs
The after school programs are for elementary-age children who need assistance with homework and want to hang out in a safe, fun environment during the after school hours.  Snacks and organized recreation are also offered.   Click here for current sites and Enrollment/Release Form

 

Tsunami Youth Group
Tsunami Youth Group is for students grades 6-12 who are wanting to be part of a safe, positive, and fun group.  In this highly interactive environment, teens learn what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and how it affects their relationships and life choices.  Click here for Youth Group Calendar and Enrollment/Release Form

Student Leadership Team
The Student Leadership Team is for students grades 6-12 who desire to learn leadership and employment skills.  Participants are given training opportunities and then expected to put their learning into practice by assisting in the after school programs. Las Comadres (pictures)

Kid’s Club (pictures)
Kids’ Club is a weekly Bible club which offers teaching and interactive games for elementary-age children who want to learn about Jesus and how they can have a relationship with Him. Click here for Schedule and Enrollment/Release Form

Graffiti Clean-up Teams (pictures)
The Graffiti Clean-up Teams, in partnership with the city of Fresno, are opportunities for community members to clean up graffiti from their neighborhoods on a weekly basis.  Click here for Schedule and Enrollment/Release Form

Computer/Internet Access and Classes (pictures)
Light & Life Urban Ministries currently offers computer/internet access for adults and supervised children/teens at Summer Park, Floral Gardens, and Fountain West. Summer Day Camp
The Summer Day Camp occurs during summer vacation and offers a place for elementary-age children to hang out, have lunch and participate in learning and recreational activities.  Click here for Schedule and Enrollment/Release Form



Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch Program is a partnership with Fresno County EOC where nutritional lunches are provided and served to youth under the age of 18 at a local soccer park. Click here for Schedule and Enrollment/Release Form

Restorative Justice Initiative (pictures)
The Restorative Justice Initiative is a partnership with the Center for Peacemaking and Restorative Justice which provides mediation services for resolvable conflicts between community members and management.

Neighborhood Watch (pictures)
Neighborhood Watch is a partnership with the Fresno Police Dept., giving interested and involved community members the opportunity to help keep their neighborhoods free from criminal activity.  Click here for Schedule and Enrollment/Release Form

Life-Skills Classes
Life-Skills Classes are offered for various needs, by various partners, at various times.  These classes include, but are not limited to: nutrition education, financial literacy, ESL, parenting, resume writing and interviewing skills, job search, spiritual foundations, fitness and more. Click here for Current Classes and Enrollment/Release Form

Camps / Retreats (pictures)
A partnership with The Oaks World Impact Camp, Hartland Christian Camp, and the Free Methodist Conference Family Camp allows youth grades 1 – 12 can attend week-long camps during the summer.  There are also numerous weekend youth retreats throughout the year. Toys For Tots
Toys for Tots is a partnership with the US Marine Corps and United Way of Fresno County to ensure that all children have a toy for Christmas. Click here for Schedule and Application

Pool Monitors (pictures)
Adult residents have the opportunity to volunteer their time during the summer to aid the management of apartment communities by monitoring pool to ensure compliance to safety rules.  Click here for Schedule and Application/Release Form
