Current Ministry Sites

Summer Park Apartments (formerly The Winery Apartments)
(picture) Summer Park Apartments (formerly the Winery Apartments - the name was changed to reflect the transformation that has taken place.) are 248 units of affordable housing located in the heart of Southeast Fresno.  Summer Park was acquired in 1997 by EAH Housing as an acquisition/rehabilitation project.  This development, which houses approximately 800 people, is the birthplace of Light & Life Urban Ministries (1999) and currently houses their office.

Stoneybrook Apartments
(picture)  Stoneybrook Apartments are 398 units of conventional housing located one block North of Summer Park Apartments.  This development was purchased by The Bascom Group in 2003, and operates as conventional housing.  They currently accept residents with vouchers from the HUD Section 8 program.  Light & Life Urban Ministries began ministering to this community of approximately 1,300 residents in 2002.

Ranchwood Condominiums
(picture) The Ranchwood Condominiums are 460? units located directly across the street from Summer Park Apartments.  Formerly HUD housing, this development was converted to a condominium community in ?.  Light & Life Urban Ministries began ministering to this community of approximately 1,400 residents in 2005.  Light & Life Urban Ministries has a partnership with Butler Mennonite Community Church, allowing LLUM to operate their ministry in a condominium owned by the church.

Fountain West Apartments
(picture)  Fountain West Apartments are 72 units of affordable housing located in West Fresno.  Fountain West was acquired by EAH Housing in 1997, a preservation project funded by the HUD 236 program.  Light & Life Urban Ministries began ministering to this community of approximately 250 residents in 2007.

Floral Gardens Apartments
(picture)  Floral Gardens Apartments are 56 units of affordable housing located in Selma, a community just South of Fresno.  Floral Gardens was acquired by EAH Housing in 1997, a preservation project funded by the HUD 236 program.  Light & Life Urban Ministries began ministering to this community of approximately 180 residents in 2007.
